SUPPORT THE BLIND SAILORS

    As of August 5, 2003 The Foundation For Texas Blind Sailors, Inc. (TBS) were granted federal tax exemption  501(c)(3) status.  So what does that mean for our supporters. Well simply put it affords our supporters the ability to make tax deductible contributions to the blind sailors.

     There are no salaries or compensation paid to any director or officers of the blind sailors. They are all volunteers who believe in our goal of providing blind / vision impaired people with access to the wonderful world of boating, be it sail or power.  There for you can be assured that 100% of your contributions go directly to benefit the blind sailors.

    There are several ways you can support the blind sailors:

Direct Contribution by check

 Make your checks payable to "Texas Blind Sailors" and mail to:

Receipt letters will be issued for your tax records.

Do you shop online, if so check out www://igive.com, they are an online shopping mall which includes such stores as JC Penny, Disney Store, Circuit City, Office Depot  just to name a few.  Many of the stores in this mall will contribute a percentage of the sale to your favorite organization provided they have been register with igive.com and the Texas Blind Sailors are registered. Simply follow the instructions to select the Texas Blind Sailors as the organization you wish to support and than get your shopping done and help out the blind sailors at the same time.
